Docs on the Run Court Date 6/6 8:30 a.m.

I am going to Small Claims Court against Docs on the Run at Orange County Superior Court on 6/6/06 at 8:30 a.m. at 700 Civic Center Drive, Dept C54 if anyone is interested in seeing her face to face, she should be there. Maybe you could throw your unpaid invoices at her.

I was lucky enough to be fully paid by Docs on the run.

I had lunch at a restraunt next door to Docs on the run two weeks ago and they are STILL in business. I think they are operating by another name. I think it would be a good idea if you are going to be in Orange County to stop by during business hours. Perhaps you could walk in and get a business card with the new business name. The owner, Suzanne, has real estate listings posted in the window and it looks like she just may be doing loans now based on a sign I saw in the window.

I suppose it's possible that she sold the business to someone else and is just "renting" space now but I think the judge would like to be informed. I called the old phone numbers just in case also, and they are still disconnected.

Went by there today. Business was closed but still there. Sign said "Back at 12:00" More than likely her crooked brother the mortgage broker still hangs his hat in there. He used to take care of the phones and bills when Mysti and John or Suzanne werent there. We'll see what happens tomorrow at my court date.

Don't be surprised if you win by default because the defendant has no-showed.

Well someone is still doing business by their handle 'cause they called me Thursday for a signing & I turned him down. Didn't try to get his name or number but just thought I'd let you know they're still making calls trying to get someone to do work for them.

Thanks for the info. Will keep you posted on the court thing tomorrow. I went by their office today, it is still there but no one was there today. As expected, she did not show up. I of course won the judgment but as the judge pointed out....it is easier to get a jugement than to get paid. Anyway, she has 30 days to appeal and prove her side that she doesnt owe it (which of course she cant do) and then after that I can try and collect thru other means (garnishing wages etc) So we will see after 30 days.
