I have been having a very good response to a mass mailing I

did about 2 month's ago to TC and lenders. I used the BIG American Flag postcard's from Vista Print, put all my information on it, pushed being available most any time, last minute call's welcome, competitive rates. I am quite surprised at getting such a good response and wanted to pass this along to other's who are marketing their business. I had 3 of the companies tell me that the BIG postcard's really caught their eye and 2 of them said that they are hanging on their bulliten board's to be easy to see when they need me. I am doing one signing this morning for one of the new companies and did one last night for another. I hope this turn's in to many more. Have a nice day all!

Thanks for the information Kathy. I have sent out note cards, have received minimal response. Maybe they are to small. I will try the post cards.

good going Kathy! Always looking for markrting ideas that bring a response. I always liked the postcard mailing. We are going to start a campaigne soon featuring the ALabama NSA network. It's all about keeping yourself in front of them.
Also, drop in on your local Wells Fargo offices to give them a card. We have so much candy left from last night, the trickers got rained on, that I'm bagging it up and passing it out with a ribbon and punch hole thru my card.
When you have nothing going on, get out in the car and visit! I keep a list and show up on occasion with a smile and reminder that I'm available. Smile
It's also a good idea to send Christmas cards with your biz card....nobody throws away Chistmas cards!

sharing. Now, I am off to make a good impression in my new black pantsuit! Ha ha! I love this biz!

Great Ideas!

I was looking at Publisher and it was pricey, so I was just debating on wether or not to use Vista. I have tons of candy too as we didn't get a lot of trick or treaters this year. We did ours on Friday, I have 6 bags left. Better to give away than to eat it myself. I want to create a flyer for our network to bring to the meeting. Not sure what kind of marketing we'll do, but I think it's a good idea.

Re: Great Ideas!

Cassie, I have a few samples of that brochure for you 'network' if you need. Also, take advantage of all the holidays. People are feeling (usually) good in general and are more apt to listen. I also employ little seed packets in the spring, Valentine candy kisses, a turkey type of napkin ring, Christmas cards, etc. Use your imagination and always attach your card with a nifty little saying. It's all about keeping yourself in front of them.

You are creative! Those are all great ideas. And yes, thank you, samples for the network would be great. Thanks a bunch. Can I send you my postcard and will you give me your opinion?

Sure Cassie, send away...

I'm headed out, it's raining so I'm going to get some big hair running around. I'll dig up that brochure and send it your way in a couple.

Re: Great Ideas!

also, there are going to be three companies that are loyal to me, that will be receiving a crystal little candy holder with Christmas ribbon candies this year. If you have a company that gives you first choice, take care of them!

I'm in the same boat as you, Charm. We had a downpour last night...not one little goblin. My Brokers, EOs and post closers are going to love me. I'll be sending snickers, twix, M&Ms and 3 Musketeers.

Now I'll have to dig up the receipt for taxes. Smile

I've actually liked thanksgiving cards, they are ecumenical,

they celebrate a typically American holiday, and very few people send out Thanksiving cards so you tend to stand out. I have mine printed up with something regarding that in the season of thankfulness remembering to thank those who keep us in business throughout the year. There are sentiments that are better written but express the idea. I personally like Christmas cards and send them to friends but for business I prefer not to take a chance on hurting anyone's sensitivities.

Exactly Charles, I always pick the Holiday Greeting or Season's Greeting cards for companies, you never know! Thanksgiving cards...hmmm, now that's one I hadn't thought of. Great idea!

Vistaprint.com has 100 free postcards available

I have had great luck with postcards. I recommend the 100 free regular size because you can mail them for $. 24 ea.
Almost everyone "looks" at a postcard and many people (including myself) just toss letters in the trash without looking at them.

Hello all, this is my first time posting a comment however I read comments daily. I am a new CSA located in the triangle area of NC and I would love to have some sample visuals on ways to market my business. If anyone has examples that they can send please do (the p.card sounds like an excellent idea- I'm not creative). My email address is [e-mail address]

Thanks a bunch

Re: I have been having a very good response to a mass mailing

I am soooo glad to hear that! I just sent out 100 post cards (I used the Vista print ones with the little houses on it) just a few days ago. Crossing my fingers that I get as good of a response as you did!
