I just got done reading a funny thread from July

It was with someone posting as anon, just curious as to when that became disallowed? Not that I think there should be a bunch of anons, just wondering.

This past summer NotRot killed off the Anons. It was a good

thing. Anonymous posting started a lot of problems, some people would use the ability of switching from one to the other as sock puppets. Others used Anon to flame and it was really hard to keep things straight when several anons got together. Then someone started using Anon as a screen name and while it may seem difficult to imagine but even with screen names the posters take on personalities and so when one posts with their usual screen name you can kind of know what to expect in the post. It used to be really disruptive. That was back in the wild and wooly days of NotRot.

I've done a bit of reading and I can certainly see that. I was just wondering when the final boot came. Thanks for the info.
