Opps! There are those wonderful houses on the beach

in the Outer Banks in NC that have 6-8 bedrooms apiece. Talk about peaceful.

I vote for Vegas providing

it's not in July or August. My reasons are: you can fly there reasonably from almost anywhere in the country. Rooms are (or can be) reasonable. Food is also reasonable if you're on a budget or very haute cuisine if desired. If that's where everyone else wants to go and provided Doc doesn't want to do it, my sis who used to set up all kinds of seminar/conventions lives there and has some very good contacts (I'll tell committee, just don't want to publish it on the web) can probably coordinate it.
