Opinion please re: Affidavit of Value
Ok, I just got a call on docs that I submitted as complete. On the bottom of the acknowledgment on the QuitClaim there is an additional section that is an Affidavit of Value which I am also supposed to notarize, jurat, which I did not. Is this something you would complete? It was a mother quiting off to her son who was already on title and this was a refi not a purchase. I'm supposed to notarize and send back. How would you handle this? Would you see the borrower again and have them swear to the $$, or what?
