Yep... dont' know what he's writing about either. My best (total, complete, off-the-wall, for no reason whatsoever) guess is that somebody has some 'organization' that needs some document notarized and they want to be able to say "Go see this person". Or, more'n likely, call this person & they will come to you at your convenience (to notarize 1 thing for .50 cents or $10...whatever your state allows). I sincerely doubt very much that they have even thought about or are factoring in any kind of travel fee. Reason I say this is that I do get a few calls from people who found me on the 'net & truly believe that I have nothing better to do with my time, gas or stamp than jump in my car & drive 2 hours to notarize some fool thing that they could take to their bank. These calls always end abruptly when I say... well, there would be a 'travel fee' of... click. Gone.

I got this also - didn't bother with it because his last statement is "If you can find time today please give me a call".

My feelings - if he is sincerely interested let HIM place the call!!!

Lee
In New Jersey I get many " I need this Notarized requests". I charge $30 to $50 fee (depending on time) + $1.50 per mile + $2.50 per Notarization (state mandated fee).
Very profitable. A lot of afflunent people. Time is money. Not interested in going to bank etc.
Meet me.

Guess that's the difference between someone from Jersey and an Arkie...

I got this too. I think he is trying to sell us something. Probably a listing on his site. The phone number he listed is unpublished.

I didn't get the email, but after all these responses I'm curious - what exactly did ol' Georgie have to say?

There is no way of knowing if this is the same person. But e-mail phone number is an unlisted Glendale, CA cell phone and, there is a George Bulvas who is a producer for Heartbeat of America national television program located in Malibu, CA that sounds like it might produce business infomercials for trade shows, etc.....?
