DAC-Document Assistance Co, Newport??

Any info on these guys? When they called for a job in October, I quickly checked Signing Central for them, and they had 3 1/2 stars, so I skipped reading the comments at the time.... (pretty silly, huh? UGH!) thinking they were OK. That's the last time I do that, I guess. According to their pay schedule, I should have been paid Dec 1. This isn't a big deal, I always allow for mail time and it's the holidays.... but when I decided to do a little more homework, I found out there were "issues". Signing Central had one comment from 08/07 and Search had comments from 03/07. All pretty bad. Soooo.... does anyone have anything to say about them that would either allay my fears of non-payment, or just tell me... chalk it up- you screwed up.

(I am keeping in mind that the check could be on its way even as I type, but somehow I think I am being a little too optimistic.)

I haven't worked for them in a long time, when I did, they always paid. They just don't pay enough out here...

Thanks so much for your replies! Maybe things are going better now than at the beginning of the year for them. Very cool.
