NSAs and the client

A while back I was contacted by a title company to do reverse mortgages. They said they had a really big client.

They called me to do a reverse mortgage closing. It was yesterday.

One of the prevailing thoughts I had was, this company does not want to lose this client (no company does). A lot hinges on what I do. Don't be late. Treat the borrower with dignity and respect. Etc.

I think it's important for us notary signing agents to think of ourselves as business partners. Do everything we can to get the job done. Even go out of our way at times.

I admit that it took me a while to really understand that, and for it to sink in.

Now I always try to look at the big picture. We will often have to go out of our comfort zone. We will have to be unselfish. We're tired and want to go to bed. We're fed up with all this bulls**t. Etc.

But there is a client, who is depending on us to help them keep ** their ** client.

Good luck.
