Background Check

I had an occasion to have to have a background check done locally through the police dept. I wonder if that will suffice instead of having to pay to have another done?
It seems like every place is asking that you get one through them.
Is there a big difference in whatever information they want?

Maybe. Big difference is how much it costs you and into whose pocket it goes.

Hello Margaret. I am in NY and I have the same situation. For years I never needed a back ground check done mainly because I myself am also a Law Enforcement Police Detective here in ny . However, I am finding out that companies are still demaning a background check be done and provided. so I had to order one throught the national Notary assocation yesterday.

Offering to provide police department Identification is not even accepted anymore.

Guess the companies have to protect their interest so you can't blame them.

Good Luck to you
Happy 4th. of JUly
