Loan with home in a Trust.

Is this the right way to notarize and also 2 entries in my journal one as individual and one as a trustee?

She has to sign all docs with both names as individual and as a trustee.

Mary Jones Mary Jones,Trustee

But now in my notary certificate:

"Proved to me on the basis of satisfactory evidence to be the person whose nameS ARE subscribed to the within instrument and ackn. to me that SHE executed the same in HER authorized capacitIES and that by
HER signatures on the instrument the person or the entity upon behalf of which the person acted executed the instrument."

Am I correct in regards to singular and plural in the notary certificate?

I have done dozens using only singular and I have never had any problems, but I was notarizing last night and thought it should be done singular and plural as above. What do you think?

Thank you.

One journal entry, singular wording.

In CA we are not authorized to acknowledge capacity. You can note it in your journal for your own reference down the road. Also I ALWAYS check with Ttile to make sure how the Lender wants to sign if their are no preprinted names on signature lines.
