trays on a eLynx file. All trays are recognized and prints fine in PDF

Unless the file is 'coded' for both trays, it won't switch. That is, it is not necessarily the printer configuration that is in error, but the file itself. If the file does not contain the proper command to send to the printer, it doesn't know to switch. eLynx files typically print in RAW PCL which means there is nothing to interpret and therefore the driver doesn't know page size to automatically select, it must be told.
