FASS haven't heard from them in a while.Anyone getting calls

I went from hearing from them several times a week and now their calls came to a dead stop. Find it kind of odd. Anyone else notice this also?

Haven't heard a peep since they lowered fees

I did one for them at $150 on the Friday after TG last year. They said they couldn't put that high on the conf. I told them to put me through to FAT people so that they could guarantee the $150 fee.

They did, and FAT did. It was January or February before I got paid because they said I didn't follow procedure...and I didn't for FASS but I was working for FAT because that's who guaranteed my fee, but finally FAT did put it through so I'd get paid. Yet, I still didn't get a check.

A trace showed they sent it to the wrong address. It came back. FAT had FASS cut me a check, I cashed it. All was well.

Then, I got a call from FASS. They wanted to get my correct address to send the first check. I told them that I had already been paid for that one. Okay, thanks, they said.

A couple of weeks went by and I got another call to tell me that my check was ready but they needed a good address to send it to. Ugh. I told them that I had already been paid. The "ugh" is for that thing called "integrity" that kicks in when you'd really loooove to get that $150 check and someone really wants to send it to you.

IMHO, FASS showed integrity as well. They thought they owed me and they were danged willing to pay it.

I have been getting a few phone calls direct from their title end. Last year they started using different schedulers, they were difficult to understand!

While there may be some from the Phillipines, there are certain a bunch of them from India, too. I read a "news" report and posted a link to it re: outsourcing that FASS is doing with India.

When they were calling me, they reminded me of those little cadged, signing girls that flew away with mothera in the Godzilla vs. Mothera movies. I'm dating myself! (their voices are ssooo high and tiny!)

I have caught those fine (ahem) movies on the Saturday morning tv matinees for years.

Imagine...making a fiend out of a "moth" and calling it "Mothera."
