HELP FOR SIGNING TONIGHT: Date on Closeout Letter

Hi, there. There is a closeout (payoff) letter included in the loan package and I'm suddenly not sure whether to fill out the date with today's date or if that's for the lender to fill it out when they're ready to send the check.

The date is not by the BO's signature. Rather, it's on top of the payoff letter. The borrowers then sign at the bottom. I'm just worried about the date on the letter being today and the date on the check being 3 days or more later. Would that be an issue?
