Just did a signing for them on 10-24-07 and received check on 11-2-07. I did have them put my name on the HUD.

good for you, I actually put them in my cell phone memory just to bug them each and every day, unitl I received payment!!!

I just received a check from them - and the original amount was changed (and initialled) and the written part was also changed (and initialled) (and the original amoount was less than the changed to amount). The check is a mess. I don't even know if my bank will accept it - but I am not going to try and deposit it because ITS NOT MINE!!!!! maybe I have someone else's check but am going to call them in the AM and find out what it is for and then will also complain to them about all of the changes on the check. Surely they could have just written another check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a stall. Reminds me of a sitcom "Roseanne" that, in order to stall the checks, she mailed the gas co check to the electric co. and the electric bill to the gas co..........
