There was just a question of this earlier in the week...

I use packetel, it is $3.95 a month... very inexpensive and works great.

www.packetel.com

Promotional code to be entered in is: gzjuz27366

Phillip I used Packetel instead of k7 because Packetel had

unlimited faxes.

With K7 it stated:
Q: How many messages can I have? How long can I keep the old ones?

Your K7 mailbox can hold up to 20 messages at one time. (This includes both voice and fax). That's the total of both new messages and any old messages you have saved. All messages are deleted after 7 days. This is one of the advantages of receiving your messages by email. The only limits are those set by your email provider.

I did not want to worry about not having enough room. And and important email being deleted before I got to it.

Thanks for all your help !

I used to pay for efax

Until I realized about a year ago that almost nothing was sent by fax anymore, it's all email now. I don't think I've gotten anything faxed to me in 2 or 3 months now. I initially figured it was more professional looking to have the same area code as my cell phone number, but after realizing how little it was actually used I just couldn't justify the expense.

So I just canceled the premium efax service and switched to the free one. Had to change the fax number of course but it's turned out to be no big deal. The area code is different now, but the number is almost the same as my cell phone, just the last digit is different, so it's easy to remember.
