Re: Akeen...A keen.. And Purchases in General ...

I've had a couple calls (not many) for Purchases.. I've been leery of accepting those kinds of assignments, can anyone tell me anything about how they go? Do they end up being More work than a Re-fi? I guess I kind of think that if its a real "Buy-Sell" and they are calling a Notary - they are trying to cut corners rather than use an Attorney or a Title Company.. and I already feel like we Notaries are not respected or paid accordingly as it is.. I dont even know HOW I would price if I accepted one..
Any input would be Helpful ! Thank You.. Smile

Re: Akeen...A keen.. And Purchases in General ...

I have done a purchase loan but the BO found me on 123 and just called me. They never said anything about what type of document but that they needed a few signatures. When they showed up and I looked over it, I realized it was a purchase but hey I did it anyways and they paid me the amount I had on my listing...$XXX, no questions asked! Easiest thing I have ever done and didnt have to explain anything to them.

Re: Akeen...A keen.. And Purchases in General ...

A purchase can go either way meaning a short process usually 1 hr to a lengthy process up to 2hrs. due to addendums and arguments over who is giving what away. I find most of them not worth the time. If you do them add at least 1/2 more of your normal fee. They take longer than a refi.
