Marketing to loan originators - Live Chat. Tues, April 8

Marketing to brokers and independent loan originators: Live Chat on Tuesday, April 8.
5pm Pacific time
8pm Eastern time

Topics of the April 8 chat will be:
1. Why we should market to brokers and independent loan originators and stop marketing to
title companies
2. Defining the brokers/LOs who are worth our marketing time
3. Where to look for these specific brokers/LOs

This is a repear topic because lots of people emailed and pm'd me after the March chat, asking if I will do it again because they missed it or they want a deeper understanding.

Thanks to the people who asked questions and wanted clarification in the last chat. I tried to word my points as clearly as possible but the topic is very tricky. The people who asked questions gave me opportunities to reframe my writing and thereby create more chances for people to understand my points. I hope more people will ask questions on April 8.

A suggestion...

My guess is that there would be better participation if it was scheduled much earlier in the day, other than prime time for signings. I know with the time differences it's hard to find a time that would be good for everyone, but....

Any other thoughts?

I see your point.

I have had a hard time thinking of the right time to hold these sessions.

I finally decided on an after-work time because so many NSAs have day jobs, especially since the volume of work has plummeted.

What do you think of Sunday? Say 4pm Pacific - 7pm Eastern? I haven't chosen Sunday before because I think of it as Family Day.

I have also toyed with the idea of Tuesday morning. Say 9am Pacific - noon Eastern.

I'm sending this to you both on-board and in a pm because this topic is no longer on page 1 of the forum.

I'd love to hear your comments and ideas.

In case anyone else cares or has another opinion, here's my response:

I didn't think about Sunday, but now that you mention it, I think it is a great idea -- and I think 4:00 pm Pacific would be great. It's a time that people would be least likely to conflict with signing appointments and and church. If it's important enough to someone, they can schedule dinner around it.
