Well others have gotten paid from them..I havet. I done two sigings on Feb 1 and I spoke to a Chris who said I need to speak to an Al Armstrong who never returned my call. Carmella wont answer my call nor emails. So Im drafting up a letter and faxing and mailing certified to them. If I dont get anything form them by April 14 then I will move my actions further

I just looked it up under Cogent - found some stuff there. Try again and maybe it will come up. They are also listed in Signing Central and you can access any linked discussions there.

I worked for Cogent once in February and received payment within 30 days. Since then they've called me for a couple more jobs. The two I took, one ended up "getting canceled" after I e-mailed confirming my fee (since it was not listed on the confirm they sent me) The other one, on a Monday they called me for one "tomorrow" but I never got a confirmation. When they contacted on Tuesday to ask me if I was still available for the Wednesday closing, I told them I was not, and that it is customary to send the confirmation immediately so these types of misunderstandings can be avoided.

Good heavens! Not sure why it triple posted, but I had

wanted to finish my post by saying that I feel they are an OK company, just maybe a little disorganized when hiring notaries. They used to use a signing service (Coversign) to hire their notaries, but stopped after continually getting reports of non-payment. They may just need a little time to get the hang of how to hire the notaries directly.

Re: Good heavens! Not sure why it triple posted, but I had

Triple posting seems to happen once in a while. When I triple posted I thought I just had a sensitive mouse, but I see it happens to others too.

Hmm would be nice if there was an option to delete our own posts, then we could just delete the "extras"

I have one paid and one unpaid

Did one on Jan 31 which was paid on Feb 25. The second one was on Feb 15 and has not been paid. I left a voicemail callback request yesterday but it was not returned, so I'll call again tomorrow.
