BROTHER'S HL-5250DN LASER PRINTER QUESTION

I have a technical question. I have a one year old Brother HL-5250DN laser printer and lately it has started lightly printing on every other page on the left side. Than it appears to occasionally give ghost printing.
I have just put in a new toner cartridge and it still seems to do it.
What is causing this? I put in a new drum about 6 months ago and I do about 25 closings a month.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Has it been acting like that since you put the new drum in? I know when I installed a new drum I had to reset my printer.

Sounds like the drum... I have the same one and never had that problem

It is just a problem that started recently. It had been working perfectly since I put the drum in 2 months ago. Also the light that would light up and blink drum isn't doing anything. I hate to buy another drum as they are very expensive. But I could afford one with one job. So perhaps I will try that.
