Litmit to fees paid for Subordination Agreement? (Calif)

One of my borrowers was charged $250 for a subordination agreement. I know that there is an $85 limit to what can be charged for a demand & reconveyance deed, so I was surprised that a lender would charge so much for a subordination.

Are these the Cap on fees to draw one up, or limits to get them 'Recorded' and processed?

I don't think there was a break down of where the fees are going, but it was all to go to the lender, which in this case was the County. None of the fees was being charge by the Title company, just the County.
