Funny signing story. Had a signing the other nite, Mr was
in his 70's , Mrs. a few years younger. He started by looking at HUD and said . "This is not the same lender. My loan is with ABC Mortgage Servicing , and new loan is with ABC Bank. Who are they?" I said that seemed to be the same company. He said "no they are not", and started running all over the house looking for his existing loan paperwork. While is was out of room. I went through pkg and found notice of servicing xfer from ABC Bank to ABC Mortgage Servicing, ABC's sevrvicing subsidiary. Told Mrs what I found and she called him back to table. Continued with that type of ?? from him. Emphacized RTC and had him sign RTC form out of order. Used all of my "move it along" techniques, but Questions continued. It was my last appointment for the day , so I just resigned myself to an extended signing. When we got to mortgage, (standard 15 pager) he started reading in detail. When he got to about page 3, his chin hit his chest and he started snoring. Wife gave him the elbow, and said, "Damnit John , wake up and finish signing these papers. American Idol is starting , and I want to watch it. Let's finish signing so that this nice man can go home." We were finished about 10 minutes later.

That's HILARIOUS. My funny signing story for this week was a house with two VERY large and friendly golden labs. Dogs are no problem. Midway through the closing I hear one of the dogs loudly and obviously slurping from the toilet. Moments later it walked over and licked/drueled all over my elbow. Ughhh... at least it was a clean house, but Purel is my friend....
