Notaries do not notarize documents. They notarize signatures, (it doesn't matter what or where the document comes from) except where prohibited by law. I don't see why you could not notarize the signatures of a document from another state (KY).

Remember what Dottie stated, your not notorizing the state of Ky or the doc..Your notarizing the signature of the owner in your state Indiana.

Are you by chance saying that the Indiana notary happens to be in Kentucky? Then, no, unless the two states have some sort of notary reciprocity agreement. Notaries all over the country notarize signatures on Deeds that will be recorded in states other than where the notary got their commission/reside.

Don't forget if KY is printed on the venue to line out , initial and write in IN and county
