NREIS

Received payment for 3 outstanding signings today. Check dated for 02/17/10. Only have one more outstanding. Maybe I will get paid for the last one. I will not take a chance on any future requests.

Likewise. Payment for three more signings in late February/early March to go, then I'm done. Just too risky. Frown

They have been good to me over the years, many years, and I am paid up, so might take another if it's not far.

It is just a shame about NREIS...I have been a NSA for five years and have done many closings for them. I am still owed for a 01/29 closing and four in March and don't think that I will accept any more.:-(

How many companies have we watched fall behind and make no apparant effort to catch up? We still don't know what happened and while I would appreciate an explanation, it doesn't look like I'll get one so I have to draw my own conclusions. Most likely, they lost a big account and their pockets were not deep enough to cover the loss. I don't know but I DO know they have paid me in full. They did not declare bankruptcy, change their name and reopen their doors under a new name. Instead, they made the effort to catch up I give them credit for that. I will work for them as long as they meet my fee. It will be a while before I allow 8 unpaid files to hang out there but I can take a couple at a time until I feel certain they are back on their feet. I accept files everyday from companies that are not able to pay me until they get paid. If I didn't, I would be out of business.

I'm almost entirely caught up with them now too--seems like they're cutting checks at 45 days, and then sitting on them another 45 days. I'm getting my payments right about at 90 days.

I've done lots of closings for them and they're one of the easiest to work for, but this is no fun.

I'll continue to work for them but only taking a few closings at a time until they get faster about payments. I let them know every time they call too.

I too received checks up to date. So grateful for that.
