Quick question - only have 15 mins then I have to tear out
of here....My instructions are for CT & FL:
Does a loan mod (final paperwork) have to have 2 witnesses in FL? Is there a special ruling on this or something?
TIA

Shouldn't...only conveyances....
Mod isn't a conveyance IMO..should fall under same regulations as mortgages...
Unless, of course, lender/title want it - might want to take a few extra minutes to just call and make sure.

Of course I called - they just haven't replied! SOP.
Turns out single woman had friends over - they were happy to witness. Then, I get phone call - can disregard. Such a joke some of these lenders are.
