am I being a princess?
have turned down two signings today.....ss's only wanted to pay $85/$95....with me printing docs.....both companies were two star companies in Signing Central with lots of slow pay/no pay comments.....I figure I'm probably better off not having to hassle getting paid....but, is that really the going rate in SoCal?

good for you turning them down. I would have turned them down too.

I turn those down also. I might do something in that price range in my neighborhood if it were within walking distance and a company with a higher star rating asked me nicely but that fee won't get my vehicle out of the driveway.

Absolutely not a diva nor a princess. Thank you for turning those down. I would too!

It's your business--you're the Queen, not the Princess n/m

If you are a princess, then I am the queen. I turned down three out of the four I was offered today. If a company doesn't offer a fee commensurate with the time, effort and expertise required of me, then I will tell them no...and will tell them why. A certain local title company called me this morning for a same-day edoc signing and offered $65. I got a good laugh prior to asking...."oh, were you serious?"
