Walk on recordings in Michigan and Ohio

I am considering helping a client with recording their documents after closing in Michigan and Ohio. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge they could share on this matter?

In Florida this is super easy

You just walk in, hand the document(s) to the clerk, they scan them, and hand them back to you.

I agree with you Robert - however sometimes there can be a long wait depending on how many people are in line. I have waited over an hour to get a marriage license recorded after I have performed the ceremony. (not something I usually did, but the bride was a friend of mine so I walked it through)

I'm in MI ...

please don't call me to do those walk-throughs. =)

I do have a gripe - I'm in Wayne County, largest in MI & county office is in downtown Detroit (see above). There is a satellite county office walking distance from my house.

Guess what they won't do? Recordings.
