if I have the original in front of me, that's a bit more valid (to me) than someone coming in with a "copy" - who's to say the original was not destroyed on purpose - to be replaced by a new, more current document amended as the signer saw fit. And if you think it doesn't happen, walk a mile in my shoes - when it comes to wills and estates, some family members who may have felt slighted will go to any length to...well, never mind. You get it. |
