It's all in how you do it. I always let people know as I'm handing them the document that it requires an oath. Like LKT, I used to administer the oath for all the jurats at the end of the signing (while showing them each doc that required it), but based on suggestions I've read here, I've started doing at the very beginning, indicating that they should only sign if the content is true and correct.
(BTW, I would never use an oath like the one you have in your first paragraph. While that may be some of what the doc says, I would never presume to try to condense that - or any other content - into the oath. None of my business and way over the line, imo.) |
