I admire that you two, Pamela and Bob, have been diligent in not working for deadbeats and having these issues for so long. I know that you work for few signing services and have more direct clients in your area. Many SS's are becoming more and more risky and offering lower and lower fees all the time.
It only takes one time. You can see the benefit in retaining a copy of the docs on your hard drive until you are ultimately paid.
Definitely a sign of the times that we need to be vigilant about companies with no SC listing and scouring the forum and the internet using google search for information from other SA's who had experience with unlisted companies.
I hope you get your out of pocket fees reimbursed.
Experience is what we get when we don't get paid.
