the lines are getting blurred when it comes to technology in our industry.
VA has a separate & distinct Electronic Notary. They are required to keep an electronic journal & a record of all transactions via webcam for 5 years. We all know about hacking & data breaches, so I don't know that any of that can be guaranteed as fail-safe. I'm talked about this before, because I'd have to sign up with a platform like DocVerify to handle it. It's too costly for me as an individual notary, costing hundreds of dollars per mo.
