I send a greeting introducing myself and that I am meeting with them on this day at this time to sign paperwork. i tell them i will need copies of driver's license and ask them to respond that they received the message. I find if I text, first they read it as no one is answering phones from unknown numbers anymore, secondly, they recognize the day and time so they know I"m legit and they respond and sometimes ask questions. But that's all I ask for is a copy of their driver's license. it is in writing and they rarely forget. I have found loan officers to be a lot better at communication they there were a few years ago. Most times, the banks seem to have gotten the bank into and pretyped it into the documents. I find only giving the small amount of info beforehand works best. It's been years since I had an angry client but that was due to the lack of communication from the bank, not at me. |
