Well said. This document is a great illustration of the importance of not only having a solid foundation of basic notarial best practices, but also for keeping a journal of notarial acts. That signature page raises more questions than it answers, most of which could be covered by a properly executed journal entry, with the signer's signature and identification - and maybe even a thumbprint...
In this case, though, it wouldn't surprise me if the whole idea was to NOT have a clear cut execution of the document. Perhaps time will tell. Any speculation beyond that should probably belong in JP. |
