A notary close to me was dragged into litigation

She was deposed twice and had to testify. That is a lot of time out of her business with almost zero compensation. I think she was paid something like $15 or $30 per day.

Had a TC I never work with up in Northern CA throw a fit this week because they lost my notary acknowledgment for a grant deed. They didn't want to "bother" the client to re-sign. They don't consider how our job isn't over just because the notarization is over.
