Great points Cheryl. I was thinking about this business this morning and what a mess it is! I have never seen it this quiet in my 13 years. I blame it on the NNA, Economy, the platforms and a lot of blame goes to Notaries too!
If notaries didn't fall for the hype from the NNA on how much money is to be made in this business they would not pursue this field. The ones making the money is the NNA, the platforms the SS that offer the low fees.
Nobody wants experienced knowledgeable SAs. Its whomever is quickest on their phones or texts and of course the SA that has the lowest fees! Notaries should be ashamed of themselves for taking these fees. (I know NSAs that have years of experience starting to take the low balls). I will never do it! I get so mad when I think about Notaries that are destroying this field. This has been going on for years. Its just getting worse! People wake up! |
