Capacity in Acknowledgement
Posted by debbie_CA of CA on 4/18/14 11:35am Msg #506131
I notarized a warranty deed for a Texas property and the acknowledgement was pre-printed with "John Smith and his wife Jane Smith". Do you think "wife" is considered representative capacity? I struck through wife as it seemed to me it was.
