One of my best clients asked me to do a travel notary this past week. 50 miles one way. Total drive time about 3 hours in bumper to bumper traffic. Not to mention time signing up a first time buyer. Signing went fine, docs are fine. My price that buyers, escrow agreed to was $200. Now, lender is telling escrow they won't fund the loan because the initial disclosures only quoted a notary fee of $150 and that I need to revise my fee to that. REALLY? any suggestions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. |
