How would you handle this? I call the number to confirm my Friday signing. Mrs. is listed as Ann Smith-Brown (not her real name), so I ask if that is how her drivers license was issued. She states no and that Smith is her maiden name, but she has never gone by Smith-Brown.
I suggest that they call their loan officer and that I will let my hiring party know. They are concerned. My hiring SS replies that she should just sign as Smith-Brown. Hum? I will make sure that both Ann Brown and Ann Smith-Brown are on the Name/Signature Aff.
