| June 26th got a call from 'Fred' to do a Closing. As usual for all calls from an SS, I ask Caller to hold while I check my "Schedule" - but I actually review the NR Signing Central printout I carry in my briefcase - Company is listed as 4stars. Told 'Fred' that I have availability but I do not sign contracts or agreements with SS.... is that acceptable to Signature Closers? 'Fred' said that would be "Okay" because job needs to be Closed quickly. Along with the edocs was a request for my Commission, Bond & E&O, which I immediately emailed back. After the Closing, docs were dropped and invoice sent. Then came their demand to 'acknowledge' their Guidelines and Agreement showing terms for a subcontractor & asking me to choose eft or check. Reminded them of my 'no contracts' requirement. Get an email this closing is now marked as 'disputed' and I will get a check. July 19th -send demand for payment. Response is I did not "acknowledge" the agreement & so check will be "sent out by 3rd party vendor last day of the month following the Closing & I should get it 3-5 days later". Their number is now BLOCKed in my cell! I think they "stack" fake positives in Signing Central for every SA negative. |
