It has been a very difficult year, lost our mom after a lengthy terminal illness and many hospitalizations here and in Oregon. This is our first holiday season without her, and we marvel at her endurance and resilience while she raised us in Ojai, CA. We miss her tremendously. Sweet sorrow. Mom was such a good woman left us with a strong legacy.
Just made a fire in the wood stove, and brewed a pot of Seattle's Best french blend. Ease into the day. we're spa'ing, not eating a great deal of food, but still celebrating our blessings and health as will as the ability to work hard and reap the benefits of our toil.
Thought for the day...be grateful.
