It does reflect on the lender and the title company when a signing service refuses to pay third party vendors. I have always notified a signing service who pays too late or does not pay at all, that the title company, the lender and the borrowers will be notified if I don't receive payment The title company does not want to look bad for hiring fraudsters. The lender may think twice about using the title company if there is any blowback. The lender does not want to receive any questioning of their practices from the borrowers. You may think it is not worth the time to take these measures, but customer service is important to all of the links on the chain I am glad to hear that this happened and puts signing services on notice that if they fail to pay, they will pay themselves
