I always get a fingerprint too...not in my journal, unless it is a grant deed or DOT, but on the document itself. Well, I'm in CA where we have more fraud than any other state. It was recommended by our District Attorney's office that I do this, given many elderly people here are still conducting business involving sale of RE and vehicle transfers.
