It's good that people try the OSB and Google before asking a question. But because people do that, and we never know which thread they're going to land on when they search, those of us who know some of the answers are motivated to correct inaccurate answers, or point out common gotchas, every time they come up. That way, if there's a thread that says, for the millionth time, the more but not less rule is the law, there will also be a post in the same thread saying there's no such law.
Too bad there isn't a reliable guide with all the good answers and none of the bad answers that we could point people to. But we could never agree on which ones are the good answers and which ones are the bad answers. |
