Through all the ups and downs of the industry over the past year, NationalLink has been reliable as a rock for me. A slow but steady stream of closings, with consistent pay within 30 days. Today they called me for a closing, to which I agreed. The scheduler then said "Upper management has told us to ask our closers if they will accept $85 as their (e-doc) closing fee." I replied "You can tell upper management I am happy to reduce my closing fee in direct proportion to PNC's reduction of their document package sizes." She laughed. I laughed back. She said "Okay, I'll send it over." Good times.
I hope it lasts. These kind of phone calls usually signal the beginning of the end. |
