Pamela- my experience with FASS is a little different than

what you describe. They manage the FirstAm direct notary approved list. They also manage their own notary list for FASS. I am on the Direct First Am list but not the FASS one (by choice). I consistently work with other First Am offices and do not have to go through FASS for any of them (even ones that are new to me). Occasionally, there will be an office that uses FASS to manage their payments. I find that to be a pita because they are almost always late payments that I have to follow up with and then the EO has to figure out why I have not been paid.
