I thought I saw some language about VA notaries (or maybe just the electronic ones) being able to notarize outside the state. I know Delaware does this. My state allows me to do it, as long as the document is going to be recorded in Vermont. (That's useless, because a closing has many notarized documents that won't be recorded.)
