| Neither do I, Janet. I just know that people get REAL Important stuff done everyday without necessarily appearing physically. Just tonight I had a fairly large sum of money (large to me, anyway) sent, called up the bank (not even sure where it is) and had funds transferred to my cu, after getting a "security call" back to validate it was me. Other ID questions were asked, as well. They wanted to know why I didn't call in to resolve the "security issue" on my account until now. Uh, I didn't know there was one; but apparently their compliance alarm bells went off when something wasn't verified when the account was opened. At least I had a security question (thankfully) set up. The whole business took all of 15 min total and I'm glad I didn't need to see anyone! Pretty sure no other "party" could have passed their stiff sniff test. |
