Agree with Janet.

I am not going to research and learn what all other states' requirements are -- and then keep up with it. Since I am commissioned in California and to make sure my notarization is correct, I always use California compliant verbiage/certificate.

However, maybe OP is inquiring because OP is sending something to TX to have notarized in TX. If that's the case, hopefully a TX notary will respond.
