Discrimination Based on Disability

A business cannot discriminate against a customer by charging a higher fee due to a disability. Even if it takes more time, effort or inconvenience than usual or adds a reasonable extra expense to accommodate the customer.

Disability is a protected class under federal and state anti-discrimination laws.
