There is more to the transaction than that - and you should know what's involved. Not saying you NEED to be certified - many of us who came from legal or real estate backgrounds started without that but based it on our experience and proficiency with the procedure - but you should know what you're going to be facing and what you have to do. It's not something you go into blind. It's not fair to you and it's certainly not fair to the borrowers.
