| Thanks to all of you. I am being admitted soon for ivig. I am already on three meds for this. The disease is autoimmune where the immune system attacks the muscle receptors at the neuromuscular junction causing weakness, sometimes severe. Acetylcholine travels across the junction and attaches to the receptor to make the muscle contract. I have written an article about my experience to be published in either Sept. or Oct in Wichita.
